Deputy Principal (Welfare & Admin)
Primary School
Our more able students are extended
in special ‘Thinking Skills’ programmes,
which challenge them to develop
strategies to solve problems and come
up with alternatives. In our school
assemblies, students are rewarded for
showing creativity and asking questions.
All our students are encouraged to
make informed choices and thoughtful
decisions.
Susan McDonough
Deputy Principal (Curriculum)
High School
I always encourage our students
to believe in themselves, to have
confidence in their ability to push the
boundaries and strive for the very
best. Opportunities and limitations are
endless if you work hard with dedication
and tenacity. Above all this I encourage
a joy and love for learning which should
be lifelong.
Susan Lowe
Deputy
Principal
(Curriculum)
Primary School
At EIS-Meadows we consider all our
students to be exceptional and all are
treated as such. Collaborative planning
and reflection incorporates differentiation
for students' learning needs and styles,
and we encourage such students
to work with peers and share their
knowledge and understanding.
How do you encourage exceptional
student performance?
Dave Evans
Deputy Principal (Welfare & Admin) High School
Through developing a caring and supportive learning environment at our school
we give all learners the opportunity to make exceptional progress in their studies.
Excellent relationships between staff and students built upon mutual respect and
understanding, allow our teachers to inspire and motivate the children. We actively
listen to our students and their parents and use all available resources to help our
students achieve their full academic potential, as well as becoming well-rounded and
respectful global citizens.
