Effective as of January 1, 2014 the Al
Habtoor Group announced a major
restructuring across the Group’s boards
with the aim to enhance growth, capitalise
on new growth opportunities and provide
stronger guidance and advice on the
Group’s future strategy leading into the
21
st
century and ahead of Expo 2020.
The Chairman, Khalaf Al Habtoor said,

The reconstitution of the boards has
affected several divisions including,
Habtoor Hotels; Al Habtoor Motors;
Diamondlease; Emirates International
Schools; Real Estate; and the Legal &
Audit Boards.
Congratulations!
Following
the
Chairman’s
announcement of the revamp of the
Group’s boards earlier this year, we
are happy to congratulate Henning
Fries for being promoted to Managing
Director - Hospitality Division. Henning
has been with the Group since early
2013, handling the company’s Dubai-
based hotels, the newly built 5 star
Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah
as well as oversees the global hotel
assets.

new role!
