Sultan A. Al Habtoor
I have been President
of Al Habtoor Motors for more than three
decades now, and I have never been prouder of the business as I am today.
In 2013 we witnessed exponential growth… We introduced two new Chinese
brands to the UAE market, took on three global tire makers, and we dominated
the Dubai International Motor Show, showcasing all our brands at the worldwide
event. These are just some of our achievements over a period of 12 months. All
this could not have been done without the hard work and commitment of our
staff.
It is clear to see that we have a winning team at Al Habtoor Motors. This is
why; as a Business Unit, Al Habtoor Motors was presented (for the second year
running) the Business Unit Award at the Employee Excellence Awards.
In addition, Karl Hamer was a worthy winner of the highly-coveted Chairman’s
Award; he is a hard worker and gets himself involved in most aspects of the
business, and he is someone that motivates the staff.
I think our success at Al Habtoor Motors lies in the principle that every stakeholder
in the sales transaction remains happy. It starts from the manufacturer and
goes down to our employees and up to our customers. We have a professional
team who knows how to deal with the customer and ensures that customer
satisfaction is maintained at the highest level.
In my view, our single biggest achievement is being ‘number one’ in the world
across all our brands. We stand out by closely monitoring our performance
and constantly pushing our targets higher than ever. The challenge now is to
maintain that position and not let our guard down. I have faith in our products,
our staff and our service track record that we will stay at the top!
At Al Habtoor Motors we know what it feels like to be number one. We will
keep hitting our targets, and maintaining our market position - and we will do
everything in our power to win all the awards we won last year again in the
coming year. We are one happy family at Al Habtoor Motors, and I consider my
staff as owners as well, because without them we couldn’t have achieved what
we have today.
