Last year, the Group Risk Management
Department supported the initiative
from Dubai National Insurance and
Reinsurance Company (DNIRC) to
organise the initial fire safety training
for all Al Habtoor Group employees
involved in workshops, maintenance,
and performing technical works.
Seminar
participants
included
employees from the Al Habtoor Motors
and Diamondlease workshops as well
as maintenance/engineering staff from
the Emirates International Schools -
Jumeirah and Meadows. Conducting
the half-day event on November 13,
2013 was Romeo Fernandez, Manager
and Risk Surveyor at DNIRC who shared
his powerful and practical guidelines on
fire safety and several videos reflecting
the tragic impact of accidents and fire in
the work place.
