Q: How has your role at Habtoor Hotels progressed and what has
motivated you throughout the years?

I have been with Habtoor Hotels for
the last 36 years. I have given my life to
this company and simultaneously I’ve
gained a lot of professionalism, respect
and growth. I always feel Habtoor Hotels
is my second home. I have been given
so many opportunities based on my
performance, enthusiasm and I never
let my work down. I work devotedly and
I’m happy to be part of this Group.

My passion in guest services through
telephone communication brings me
to a point where I got the chance. My
motivation is to inspire others, my
dedication and loyalty is worth it as I
follow a journey where I proved that
caring for guests is limitless. Receiving

environment like a family keeps me
going.
Hanan Mohamed Abdelaziz Aly
Guest Relations Supervisor
Habtoor Grand (26 years)
I started my career in F&B Service and after 3 years I
was transferred to the Front Office and finally to the HR
Department as Visa Officer. During those times, I was only
using a typewriter to do all government transactions, all
procedures were done manually. As the UAE Government
embraced innovation and to adopt international practices
and procedures, the hotel also worked side-by-side with the
government. All those changes motivated me to learn more,
improve myself and changed for the better. My motivation is
my love for my job, my family and all the colleagues around
me. My family has been my inspiration throughout these years
and helped me stay motivated in facing all those challenges.

Assistant Executive House Keeper

I joined as Room Attendant and after
four years in this role I was promoted to
Supervisor and later Senior Supervisor.
Today, as Assistant Executive for
housekeeping I deal with staff allocation,
VIP rooms as well as ensuring that the
customer service we provide our guests
is superb.
