A Lebanese national born in a family of
chefs and food enthusiasts, Paul Hage
grew up with a passion for cooking at
an early age.
Starting at the age of 16 as an apprentice,
Paul has extensive experience in the
hospitality industry.
He has worked at several reputed hotels
in Lebanon, including as Executive
Sous Chef at Metropolitan Palace
Hotel, and Head Chef at Habtoor Land.
After joining Habtoor Grand Beach
Resort & Spa as Executive Sous Chef,
Paul’s managerial and chef skills were
duly noted, and he was promoted to
Executive Chef of the hotel. He is now in
charge of 14 restaurants and bars at the
beachside resort.

Chef Paul has been cooking up
mouthwatering dishes at the Habtoor
Grand Beach Resort & Spa for just
over nine years. Recently he has been
recognized among the Top 70 Chefs
in the UAE, in the first recipe book
published by Caterer Middle East.
The first Caterer Middle East Recipe
Book was launched at the third
annual Chef & Ingredients Forum in
November, 2014 and features recipes
from 70 chefs along with six master

in the first recipe book
by Caterer Middle East
classes, including Gary Rhodes, Lee
Goble, Resort Executive Chef, Madinat
Jumeirah, Vineet Bhatia, Chef Patron,
Indego by Vineet, and Sascha Triemer,

As well as providing their recipe, each
chef has added their top tips and
tricks of the trade, as well as revealing
insights into their career aspirations
and their culinary inspirations. Each
recipe is illustrated with beautiful step-
by-step photography.
