‘Lifetime Achievement
Award’
for the Chairman!
‘Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor – The Autobiography’
receives Sharjah International
Book Fair award
The Chairman,
Khalaf Ahmad Al
Habtoor, was recently awarded with a
Lifetime Achievement Award at the Gulf
Business Industry Awards (GBIA) 2013
- one of the region’s most prestigious
awards. Gulf Business magazine
announced Al Habtoor as the winner
of its Lifetime Achievement Award at a
lavish event held at the Oberoi Dubai in
September 2013.
Al Habtoor, who was unable to attend
the event, said, “It was a pleasure to be
selected in this category. Success isn’t
something that comes easy.”
The event was hosted by Motivate
Publishing. Ian Fairservice, Managing
Partner and Group Editor at Motivate,
who presented the award said, “This
is the readers’ choice, the view of the
business public.”
Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor
– The Autobiography’ was awarded
‘Best International Book on Business
and Economics’ by the Sharjah
International Book Fair (SIBF) panel of
independent judges. The prestigious
award was presented by His Highness
Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad
Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme
Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and
accepted on behalf of the Chairman
by Motivate Publishing on Wednesday
November 6, 2013. Al Habtoor said,
“It took nearly two years of hard work
to write the book. I am happy to see it
receive so much interest from readers
all over the world.”
