Al Khattab Mosque is one of three
mosques in the UAE to welcome non-
muslims. The Mosque has opened its
doors to visitors from many nations
from around the world – bridging the
East and the West. The number of the
visitors since it was opened in 2011
has exceeded 75 thousand! Now that
number is set to increase significantly.
At the end of 2013 Arabian Adventures
started bringing coach loads of tourists
to the Ottoman-inspired Mosque.
Arabian Adventures is an Emirates
Airlines-affiliated
company
which
specialises in organising programmes
and tours within the UAE.
"We focus on designing memorable
activities and on meeting the evolving
needs of our customers, while giving
special care to details and high quality,”
said Peter Payet, Senior Vice President
of Arbian Adventures.
In addition, the Mosque, which is based
on the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, is
regularly visited by school children from
around the UAE as well as high-profile
guests and diplomats.
Thousands of people have flocked to the Al Farooq Omar Bin
Al Khattab Mosque and Centre since it opened in 2011. Most
