Earlier this year, the Al Habtoor Group
took part at the Emirati career fair,
Careers UAE 2014 held from April
22-24, 2014 at the Dubai World Trade
Centre. Visiting the Al Habtoor Group
stand on the opening day was HH
Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin
Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of
Dubai. The event exposed job seekers
to a wide range of educational, training
and career opportunities centered
around this year’s career fair motto:
‘Together we build the vision of our
Nation’.
The Al Habtoor Group is proud to
be the main sponsor of the White
Points initiative, a programme under
the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed
Bin Saeed Al Maktoum encouraging
motorists to abide by traffic rules, collect
points, win prizes and thus prompt road
safety in Dubai and across the UAE.

celebration organised by the Dubai
Police Department at the Waldorf
Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah on
Monday, May 12, 2014. Guests of
honour included HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin
Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai
Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman,
Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief
Executive of Emirates Airline and Group
and Major General Khamis Mattar Al
Mazeina, Dubai Police Commander-in-
Chief.
A total of 1,000 exemplary drivers who
collected 12 white points qualified for
awards for good driving, an increase
of over 30 per cent compared to last
year. Winners were awarded certificates
and prizes by the Dubai Traffic Police in
recognition for taking responsibility and
being cautious behind the wheel.

UAE nationals were given the
opportunity to learn about new career
opportunities across the Al Habtoor
Group’s business units, network and
meet with the Human Resources
staff, and directly apply for vacant
positions. The event was organised
in conjunction with TANMIA, Higher
Colleges of Technology and UAE
University and featured over 150
employers, universities, colleges and
other agencies providing information
about the opportunities in today’s job
market.
