Mohammad Saad Abdul Karim
Kayali, a Year 12 student currently
enrolled in his first year of the IBDP
at EIS-Meadows, finished in the top
6 teams from all over the globe in
the High School Cyber-forensics
Challenge organized by NYU Abu

first round successfully and with
his teammates was selected to
represent EIS Meadows and the

of the Challenge.
This prestigious Challenge is run
by students of the Information

at the NYU Polytechnic School of
Engineering and is a competition
of computer forensic knowledge in
which students solve a reality-based
cyber forensics case. Throughout
the competition, teams will work
on solving each piece of the
challenge as they progress through
the evidence. Challenges involve
knowledge of interesting topics such
as rootkit detection and analysis,
botnet detection and analysis, live
system forensics, steganography, file
carving and more.
Leonard Murphy, High School

are extremely proud of Mohammad
for not only bringing laurels to EIS,
but to the UAE and congratulate him
on this amazing achievement."
Well done!
An important part of life at EIS- Jumeirah
is the very successful EIS Awards
Programme (EISAP). Modelled on the
Duke of Edinburgh Award, EISAP asks
students to demonstrate important
skills outside of the classroom on long
overnight treks through desert and
jungle terrain.
The International Award is an exciting
self-development programme available
to all young people worldwide equipping
them with life skills to make a difference
to themselves, their communities and
their world. To date, almost 5 million
