drive and conviction, who protected the
world.

would surprise your staff?
Well…When I was young I was a head
choir boy and I also wanted to be a priest!

Winning the Chairman's Award

Karl Hamer was awarded twice this year at the Employee Excellence Awards - with his team for
the Business Unit Award and individually with the Chairman’s Award. We took some time out of
his busy schedule for a short discussion…
the Chairman’s Award?
Fantastic! Especially to receive it from
the man who inspired me to join the
company - Khalaf Al Habtoor.
AHM has won the Business Unit
Award for two years running now,
what do you plan to do this year to
secure a third win!?
Continue the passion, drive and
performance within the business to
maximize profitability.
We know that you’re a very busy
person… but apart from work, what
are your hobbies?
My hobbies are architectural design
and football (these days watching and
supporting only).
