EIS-Jumeirah is excited to announce
that it has launched a new building
project for grades KG1, KG2, Year 1 and
Year 2.
The new project has plans to build larger
and better-equipped classrooms for the
Early Years students and offer further
admission to 900 students. The overall
development will include specialised
Science labs, modern music and drama
rooms, unique Art rooms, indoor and
outdoor play areas for Early Years
students and a separate designated play
area for Years 1 and 2. The expansion
will also comprise of a cafeteria,
performance area, multipurpose hall,
indoor activity zones, specialist library,
ESL and SEN support areas and other
significant improvements. The new
classrooms for Years 1 to 3 will also be
enlarged.
Walid Semaan, EIS Housing and
Licensing Manager told us, “Our target
for the opening of the new building is
September 2016. As such, we will be
relocating some of our existing students
within the areas of the campus which
remain unaffected. Rest assured that
the reallocation of different campus
zones to accommodate students has
been done with great thought and
consideration. This new arrangement
was subject to a KHDA inspection and
subsequent approval. Student safety
and high quality learning remain my top
priority.”
