EMIRATISATION TEAM
The Al Habtoor Group is at the forefront offering a diversity of positions for Emiratis who are keen on joining a
dynamicbusinessenvironment. Overseeing the implementationof theGroup’sEmiratisationPlan, theEmiratisation
Steering Committee was established by the Chairman, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, in July 2013 and communicates
directly with local government authorities, including Absher. In this issue, the Emiratisation Committee Members
share their insight on the achievements and key milestones for Emiratisation across the Group in 2014.

The Emiratisation program at the AHG
is a success due to the fact that we
will be recruiting the “right” Emiratis.
Candidates will be hired on their own
merit, not simply to fill spaces. Once
they’re part of the Group, they become
“Habtoorians” and are evaluated based
on their performance alone. It’s a career
for life, we aim to train them and develop
their skill set in order to motivate and
retain them.
