Congratulations to Radwa Wagdi, our
Media and Communications Executive
and her husband Ahmed Abdul Azim,
Administration Officer at the Al Farooq
Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque and
Centre. They welcomed a healthy baby
boy, Adam Ahmed Abdul Azim on April
15, 2015
Radwa reveals, “It is an experience
that is impossible to fully describe. The
closest I can come is to have your heart
taken from you to live in another being
- the child you have just given birth to.
Your life is not your own any longer in
the most profound and sacrificial and
loving way possible. I could go one with
flowery language, but there are really no
adequate words to describe this.”
Her husband, Ahmed adds, “When
I saw Adam for the first time, I felt so
scared but a few minutes later I had this
huge overwhelming feeling of love and
joy.”
