20 Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque and Centre
The inaugural year of the Khalaf Ahmad
Al Habtoor Award for Qur’an & Sunnah
Recitation attracted an astonishing 200
participants from 48 schools across
the UAE. The event was held at the Al
Farooq Bin Al Khattab Mosque and
Centre from June 1-5, 2014.
A total of 116 boys and 84 girls competed
in eight categories. Two categories were
highlighted – the recitation of five levels
of the Qur’an (Chapters 3, 5, 10, 20, 30)
and the recitation of three levels of the
Sunnah have (Hadith 20, 40, 75).
The Qur’an and Sunnah recitation
committee

Sheikh Fares Al Mustafa, Head of
the Committee, and Sheikh Salah
Mahmoud Al Sa’er.
