The Metropolitan Sheikh Zayed Road Hotel is a four-star hotel located in a prime area of the city
True to our motto ‘Growing with the UAE’, the Al Habtoor Group Chairman proudly
announced three newmega projects to Dubai at a press conference held on December 9,
2014 at the Habtoor Grand Beach Resort and Spa. In addition to the Group’s commercial
success of the past and present, we are demonstrating growth throughout all of our units
and playing a vital role in economy of the UAE in the near future, creating numerous jobs,
drawing in tourists and generating revenue. Altogether, these projects are anticipated to
create at least 2,823 new employment opportunities under the Group’s umbrella.
As the Group approaches its 45

anniversary, the Chairman proudly
revives an established brand that is
so much part of Dubai’s heritage,
the iconic Metropolitan Hotel, first
established back in 1979.

How many jobs will our new projects create?
To be completed in 2016, the new hotel
located on Sheikh Zayed Road will
include a total of 334 rooms and suites.
The Metropolitan Hotel Sheikh Zayed
Hotel will also incorporate a lobby café,
an outdoor courtyard café, an all-day
dining restaurant and Don Corleone
Italian restaurant. Other facilities
include a ballroom with a pre-function
room, five meeting rooms with breakout
areas, a business centre and rooftop
swimming pool and gymnasium.
