Under the Spotight
After a long absence, Sawalef is back
with a new look and many stories to
tell. A lot of people have recently joined
our group. We welcome them with open
arms and wish them all the best on their
new positions.
In this issue, we focus on the Audit
department of the Al Habtoor Group.
Under the leadership of Venkataraman,
the Director of Internal Audit for the group,
the Audit department proves that to be a
successful auditor, you need to have good
communications skills, diplomacy and
knowledge, as well as innovation. We get
to know more about Subhro Chakraborty
and all the audit team in this issue
of the magazine.
As the famous basketball player Pete
Williams once said: “I’m not suggesting
there are any errors at all. I’m saying that
without a proper audit, there’s no way to
be sure.” And now, under the capable eyes
of our audit department, we have a way to
‘be sure’.
