About Diabetes

Symptoms include thirst, lack of

energy, blurred vision, frequent or

recurring infections.

Type

I

diabetes,

generally

diagnosed in children and teens, is

where the pancreas can’t produce

insulin.

Type II diabetes is typically

diagnosed in adults. It is related to

obesity and inactivity, where the

body doesn’t recognise insulin or

can’t produce enough insulin. It is

preventable!

You can prevent the disease by

maintaining a healthy diet and

lifestyle.
