The thought behind the artwork:
The painting is entitled ‘Taksim Trolley’ or Taksim Tram. This
painting was the subject of much discussion and arduous
work amongst our team members. We finally agreed on it for
several reasons:
• It is beautiful.
• It is in the European part of Istanbul (Taksim Square to be
precise) which is a wonderful meeting point of East and West.
• It signifies moving forward and progress.
• t is unique.
