22 EMIRATES INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS All students, teachers and classroom helpers dressed up as a character from a book to share in the global celebration of World Book Day on 23 April 2018. The day started with the Senior Leadership Team greeting the parents and students as they arrived at the school in the morning. The whole school was an array of colour and characters, as more and more people arrived. The costumes were well thought out and most of the students were carrying their books, to show which character they were representing. Not only did the students show off their costumes in a parade but they also got the opportunity during the day to drop everything and read. The atmosphere was exciting and enjoyed by all.
