10 Group News GROUP NEWS Khalaf Al Habtoor announced that the Group has signed a contract to sponsor the 14th Sheikh Zayed Charity Marathon in New York on Monday 26 February 2018. The event will be held in Central Park, New York, on 29 April 2018. The proceeds will go to National Kidney Foundation, a specialised hospital for kidney research and treatment in the US. Al Habtoor said, ”The late founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, has laid solid foundations for voluntary and charitable work and left significant hallmarks on the Al Habtoor Group renews sponsorship for 14th Sheikh Zayed Charity Marathon in New York 1. Al Habtoor signed the sponsorship contract with Retired Lt. General Mohammad Halal Al Kaabi, Head of the Organising Committee 2.The Chairman received a gift remembering his participation in the 2017 Sheikh Zayed Charity Marathon 1. 2. humanitarian work locally and globally.” The annual Zayed Charity Marathon in New York, also known as UAE Healthy Kidney 10K, was founded in 2005. Every year nearly 30,000 runners take part in the event making it one of the top 10 marathons globally.
