• Dress-down Thursday; a day when employees can wear more informal clothes, including jeans and polo shirt. • Once a month, one department in the company gets 1-hour long candid discussion with the Chairman of the Group. • Sports and family day. • Habtoor TEDx. • Bring your kids to work day. An afternoon where staff can bring their children to work, filled with activities and light refreshments. • Thrift & saving scheme or green scheme: Employees to receive regular reminders or useful tips about cost/energy savings in the work place and at home (water & electricity). • Employee Personal Development (3-day paid annual leave): Paid leave for employees attending certified training course or other certified personal development programme benefiting the company, including charity and community learning initiatives. Employee is entitled to maximum 3 working days (paid leave) every year. • Al Habtoor Group Eats Well: Bringing in a chef from Habtoor Hospitality every month to educate staff on healthy food preparation, including a cooking demonstration and traditional Arabic recipes. • Rewarding staff who have perfect attendance record (100%) for 24 months. • Al Habtoor Unity in Diversity Day (International Day); a cultural day where employees can wear their national dresses during a cultural event organized by the company. • Al Habtoor Group sports day: sports competition between the Al Habtoor Group units in crickets, football, etc. 46
