For Habtoorians with interrupted service with the Al Habtoor Group, HR is required to provide the history of their tenure across the different units by submitting one of the below: • ‘Letter of Appointment’ or any document confirming their employment with the Group • Employment visa copies from previous employers within AHG or the Immigration Department • Confirmation of appointment by the various HR departments • A written confirmation from a senior manager or director in the Group attesting the employment history Employment with Al Habtoor Engineering prior to 2007 (inclusive) is added to years of the service with the Al Habtoor Group. Employees can be nominated for the Milestone Award only once every 5 years. The HR Department will provide a list of all the ‘Long-Serving Habtoorians’ to the head of the business unit and HoDs, who in turn will complete the nomination forms with the assistance of the AWC. Eventually, each unit will nominate minimum one candidate for the Milestone Award. All nominations must be supported by an up-to-date Employee Appraisal Form (not older than 3 months). All ‘Long-Serving Habtoorians’ will receive a certificate and a nominal prize at the EEA ceremony, presented to them by the Chairman or Vice-Chairman of the Group. The selected two Milestone Award winners, will receive a trophy and monetary prize from the Chairman at the EEA event. 33
