AWARD OBJECTIVE The Milestone Award was created to recognize an employee’s: • Long period of service with the company • Commitment • Loyalty • Consistency throughout his/her career • Ability to adapt to change • In celebration of a major career milestone achievement AWARD CRITERIA In 2019, the award criteria were reviewed and amended to accommodate a larger number of ‘long-serving Habtoorians’. The selection of the winners is divided into two stages. 1. All employees who have completed 20 years of service and above during the last calendar year, are automatically eligible to be nominated for the Milestone Award. This includes Habtoorians from all levels, management and staff. This list will be known as the ‘Long-Serving Habtoorians’. 2. Each business unit will nominate 1 candidate for the Milestone Award on Group level from the ‘Long-Serving Habtoorians’, where 2 will be finally selected across the Group. Employees can be on celebrated list of ‘Long-Serving Habtoorians’ for their 20 th anniversary and every five years after that. For the first year (EEA 2019), all employees who have completed 20 years and above will be celebrated. The years of service are not required to be uninterrupted. The duration of service will include services rendered in all the units of the Group. MILESTONE AWARD 32
