Policies & Procedures
This section is added to inform all employees of the com-
panies’ policies & procedures. Every issue will highlight
a different policy.
If you have any questions or clarifications about this pol-
icy, please consult with Human Resources department.
On Sick Leave;
The Company will grant sick leave not exceeding 90 days
to employees who completed three months of continuous
service after the probation period is over and whose illness
is confirmed by a medial certificate in any one contract year
as follows:
With full salary for the first 15 days
With half salary for the next 30 days; and
Without salary for the balance days
For all other cases the employee will not be entitled to paid
sick leave.
Employees must inform their Department Heads on the first
day of absence due to illness and submit medical certificate
along with sick leave application on reporting to work.
Any claims for sick leave, neither accompanied by the ap-
propriate medical certificate nor approved by the Depart-
ment Manager, will be treated as leave without pay or treat-
ed as leave and record updated.
Official holidays and weekly rest days falling within em-
ployee’s sick leave shall be considered as part of the sick
leave.
